Over the past few weeks, we have been learning to write both formal and informal letters. Here is an example of of a letter I wrote about a political event in New Zealand.

Dear Mr Hall
I am shocked and appalled that you imprisoned my two chiefs. You did not give them a fair trial. All you did was put them in prison. We did not harm any of your soldiers and you arrested them for no reason at all. On top of that your army came in and traumatised are people and also our children. This land should be ours and not yours.
This is surely enough for you to do something. If you don’t you should be expecting lots more letters of protest.
Sincerely,
Max Martin
