Rad reading

Rad reading
This week for reading our whole hub was assigned the same task. We read two texts. My first book was called Stand Up this text was about all the protests that have happened. One of them dating all the way back too 1881 the Parihika where New Zealand had there first peace protest. anther was in 1981 the springbok tour where lots of kiwis debated about apartheid some saying that sport and politics don't mix and others how thought it was so racist that they stormed the Hamilton rugby game. My other book was the Maori pioneer battalion. I found it interesting about the rebels. A Maori group that wouldn't risk there lives for the people who took there land away so British called them rebels. Here is a link to my work page.
