School trip
On Monday my hub went to the Christchurch Museum and we did a lot of things about Maori technology. I loved all of them but I decided just to tell you about the tools we used.
1. The axe!!
We all took 1 or 2 goes to hollow out the stump.
2. Drilling holes
The next thing we did was drill holes in a peace of wood.
3. Fire starting
Next we tried to make a fire. My wood was burning hot.
4. Drawing
After that we drew some old symbols that Maori's did in caves.
5. Chiselling
My favourite was this chiselling this was the funnest over all.
6. Smoothing
The last rotation was smoothing we rubbed two rocks together to make it feel smooth.
Have you been to the museum if you have what was your favourite tool?
