Treaty of Waitangi
There I was a soldier with my hand up across my head. While I was seeing the Treaty of Waitangi being sighed. All of the Maori chiefs came to sign the treaty. 540 hundred of them came. There were repetitiveness of The Queen to sign the treaty for her. The treaty was signed in two different languages - English and Maori. The English had a translator who can tell the English what the Maori was saying but there was lots of confusion because some of the words weren't quite right. So the Maori thought they meant something else. Now on Waitangi day most Maori protest about how the land should be theirs.
