               Fish and chips and pizza 
I heard the doorbell ring I opened the door mum came out with a pizza box. My face suddenly became red with anger I was a tomato. I saw a pizza box,  mum said she was going to order fish and chips but she lied! I had never have had pizza before and I thought I would hate it. Mum said happily it’s pizza I thought you would try it also turn that frown upside down. I was at the kitchen moaning and moaning complaining to my mum. Mum slapped it on my plate as I was disgusted. I pushed it with the fork then touched it with my finger. I picked it up slowly put it in my mouth as I tasted the sensation of pizza that I was in love with.  I gobbled it up asked for another and another and another. I loved it I would have it all day it was like fish and chips but way better. I said to mum I love this way better than fish and chips. I thought in my head I still like fish and chips but it just wasn’t like pizza. The stringy cheese the meat the pizza bread the crust the tomato base it all added up to make the best food in the world. I asked mum every night but she would say no except on Friday it was my night. I could choose my tea and I obviously choose pizza. I love pizza.

Top Team

Top team
On Friday we had a really fun activity course called Top Team. We went through 13 activities that tested our team work and our skills to work things out quickly. My favourite part was both of the water activities which ended the day. We got absolutely soaked and I was looking forward to them for the whole day since it was the last activities. I was with Grace, Jin Hee, Zoe and some other people. I had never done it before but some people had. It was a super amazing and I hope we do it again.

Lego tower!

Lego tower

For one day we got to play with some Lego it was called house of bricks. We had to make the fastest car, strongest bridge and the tallest tower. My favourite was the tallest tower so I'll tell you more about that. The tallest tower had to be strong enough to hold it's self but not to big that it would waste all are time. I forgot to tell you that we only had 40 minutes that seems like a long time but when you are making Lego time goes fast. We ended up winning and it was the tallest tower.

Fashion with paper

Fashion with paper!!
This term for PBL are drive question is How can inactivation improve are lives. So the teachers asides us 3 tasks they were to make a devise to catch a balloon, how to hit a can over a 3 meter span and how to make cloths out of paper my favourite was the fashion one so I'll tell you more. We had to use 
1. A meter of tape
2. 6 pieces of newspaper
3. scissors
In my group I had Taine and Lucas it was so fun my favourite piece of clothing was my basketball headband.

Problem Solving

Problem solving
This term for maths we have been doing problem solving. Each week we do a different problem. I will shear the Dominion problem with you. We had 4 dominions with numbers on them. Then we had to put the dominions in a square with each side adding up to the same number. I got 12. 

Over all I thought it was really cool and it challenged. I wonder what the next problem is hope it makes me be challenged again.

Dear Mr Hall 

I am shocked and appalled that you imprisoned my two chiefs. You did not give them a fair trial. All you did was put them in prison. We did not harm any of your soldiers and you arrested them for no reason at all. On top of that your army came in and traumatised are people and also our children. This land should be ours and not yours. 

This is surely enough for you to do something. If you don’t you should be expecting lots more letters of protest.

Our portal to back to the past

Our portal to back to the past
On October the 29 my hub went to ferry mead. We learnt all about the past and how that impacts us in the future. My favourite part of the trip was the movies I got to see what the screens were like. We also got dressed up to look like if were in there olden days. We also got afternoon tie from ferry mead. We rode on a tram and explored the hole block. But there was a really bad thing about ferry mead there was roles. Role1 Shoes neaded to be perfect because they cost so much in the olden days. Role 2 Girls before boys, I found this sensitised and anouny. Role 3 Children are seen not heard, I'm shore everyone has heard this before.

Springbok tour

This term for PBL we are learning about New Zealand's history. We are starting to write letters about New Zealand's history and I'm happy to shear this with you. 

1981 26 July 

Dear Mother and Father, 

I have decided to protest against the springbok tour. I feel really strongly about this. This protest is dividing this beautiful country. The south African government enforced a roll of apartheid (meaning apartness) This law made life hard for millions of Black South African. I feel like the South African was a racist side so I stormed the Hamilton rugby game yesterday. Thousands of people were arrested at the protest but it was all worth it because the tour was cancelled.
