This week in writing we finished our Goldilocks articles. We will be looked specifically at our paragraph structure. Our goal was write in structured, well developed paragraphs that flow well from one to the next within the text. 

Here is the first paragraph which has a pun and a image.

Goldilocks acts like she has done nothing. Goldilocks isn't as gold as you think. At the dawn of the morning as The three bears went for a walk so their porridge would cool. Goldilocks started her spread of crimes during this moment.

This week in reading we selecting a range of articles from Kiwi Kids News. Our goal was Select from a wide range of genre when reading independently

Tittle: Michael Jordan sells jersey for

Tittle they could have used: You won't believe how much a Michael Jordan jersey sells for.  

Genre: sport

Summary: The jersey sold for a recorded 2.6 million dollars NZ. The singlet is from his second season at the University of North Carolina. 


Tittle: Bear gets stuck in factory ceiling

Tittle they could have used:  Bear managed to get on a factory ceiling

Genre: Odd stuff

Summary: Bear got stuck on a 7 meter ceiling. Don't know how they got up. Luckily the bear was unharmed.  


Tittle: World’s third biggest diamond found

Tittle they could have used: Third biggest diamond found ever. 

Genre: World 

Summary: The diamond is rated as a 1,098-carat stone, The huge diamond was found on 1 June. The stone, which is yet to be named, measures 73 by 52 by 27mm.

5 scenes

 5 scenes

This week for reading we had to use are 5 scenes. Here is my work I pick up my tooth brush and shove it into my mouth. The bristles scrape against my teeth. The smooth tooth paste turned into a science experiment bubbling into foam. I taste the mint cooling my mouth to become stone cold. I hear that I see my teeth becoming cleaner and cleaner. I hear the smell of the cologne spraying across my body. I smell the familiar scent of Lynx africa. I am ready for the day.

Bus trip Maths 

This week for maths are goal was to Interpret and use scales, timetables and charts. We had to plan a day trip that where we would go on some buses. We had to start and end at the same place, at least 3 stops and must have more than 2 types of buses. Here is my Task.

The purpose of reading this week is to read for enjoyment  understanding and challenge. Challenge yourself to read out side of your comfort zone. My book was about basketball stars and how they got to where they got to and there a compliments.

This week for math's are goals were:

use side or edge lengths to find the perimeters of rectangles, parallelograms, and triangles.

use a variety of strategies to calculate the area of rectangles, parallelograms, and triangles. 

use side or edge lengths to find the volumes of cuboids.

use appropriate scales, devices, and metric units for weight (mass) and to accurately measure length. 

convert between metric units, using whole numbers and commonly used decimals.
