Poem about my dog jax

Poem about my dog jax
This week it is poem week for writing. On Monday we were assigned to find a poem of kenn Nesibtitt poems then use the poetry toolbox to find any special features. Then on Wednesday we had to make a poem (your choose what type) about what ever you want. I chose to make my poem about my dog, jax. Here it is.
Poem about jax
I have a massive dog and his name is jax
He sits on a couch Just to chillax

When he wakes up in the morn
He starts to move, dance and yawn

He is as big as a horse and I don’t know why
He’s also a goofball and he wouldn't hurt a fly

He comes in at night and sits at our feet
Jax loves a belly rub it’s a bit of a treat

Jax likes to go for a sprint or a run
He jumps into the river and has tons of fun

Every time we leave he’s gets so down
He barks and barks with a big old frown

Even tho he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed
I wouldn’t have any other dog instead

What poem would you have made?

  1. Hi Max
Wow what a great poem. You have obviously put a lot of time and effort in to your work. Anything to do with dogs always catches my eye. They are fantastic companions and as they say "mans best friend"
